South Indian - Lemon Rice recipe

Instant lemon rice recipe. Whenever we travel for a long distance or a overnight journey, this rice never gets spoiled, it can stay for a long period of time.



Ingredients

Rice- one bowl

2 Lemon juice

Groundnut - 1tbsp

Oil 1tbsp

Salt, red chili powder

Turmeric powder

Urad lentils - 1tsp

Mustard seeds - ½ tsp

Chana lentils- ½ tsp

Asafoetida – Ingh a pinch

Green chillies

Preparation:

Take a vessel, add cooked rice into it and then add turmeric powder and oil in rice

Take a kadai, add refined oil

Then add mustard seeds

Add both the lentils (Urad and chana dal)

Saute them for some time

Add Asafoetida a pinch

Then add groundnut

And then add rice into it

Add salt

Lastly add lemon juice after rice is cooled down

Garnish it with some coriander leaves


Lemon rice is ready to be served
